Eastwood Golf Club

Hey everyone!  I'm back on the road, and playing in a Suncoast event this week!

This week we'll be playing at Eastwood Golf Club in Orlando.  I got in a good look at the course this morning, and had a great practice session afterwards.  The course is stretched out a bit, but the real challenge is the set up.  It is a tricky, shot maker's course.  There is even one par 4 with an entirely blind shot into the green....and when I say blind shot, I mean BLIND shot.  I've never played a hole like this.  It's not a dog-leg right, it's literally more of a U-turn!  Your approach shot is over this marsh where the bushes and tree-like growth is so tall that absolutely none of the green is visible.  Nevertheless, after multiple attempts and shots...I am pretty confident that I know just where to aim to hit the green!!!!

Other than that, the course is in nice shape.  The greens are typical bermuda and are pretty grainy and slow.  After last week's qualifier in Mobile, my speed was a little off to say the least.  However, I got a good feel for the greens by the end of my practice session today.

Tomorrow is round one, and I tee off #1 at 8:27.  Thanks for all your encouragement throughout this season so far!  I appreciate all of your support!  Have a great night.
